Wisdom Teeth

So I always say that my sister bit the bullet for me.
She has four wisdom teeth and I have zero.

My sister is getting all of them removed soon.
Let me tell you, you would think that with the way the world is today, removing wisdom teeth would be a lot safer than what it actually is. There are so many risk factors like nerve damage and permanent numbness. I just cannot help but think about how advanced our technology is and yet, there are so many dangers to this surgery.
I feel like there could be a better way to perform this procedure, but no one is looking into it. This is probably because this type of surgery is so mainstream and people are looking past it.

I don't know, maybe I am completely wrong with all of this, but let me know what you think. All I have to say is I am incredibly thankful that I never have to go through the procedure, but I feel really bad for my sister and everyone else who does.

(By the way, did you know 35% of people are born without wisdom teeth? I thought the percentage was a lot lower than that).

Being Undecided

I have a lot of things to say when it comes to being undecided.

First of all, they don't tell you this, but there are three categories of people in this major. There are the "I have too many options-s," the "I have an idea-s," and then there is the "God help me-s."
The first category is sometimes stressful. This is the group of people who want to be so many different things, that they can't decide on just one. Usually, they are the first to declare an actual major compared to the rest of the people who are undecided. I do not know much about this group to be honest, but I know that it is like standing before 100 different trails and someone tells you to pick one.
The second category is what the majority of people end up in and it is the best one. Theses are the people who do not know what they want to do, but they have an idea. They tend to figure it out pretty quickly, usually within the first year of starting school. For them, being undecided is like a placeholder. I have noticed that people in this category are not usually stressed-out and they are confident that they will find a suiting major for them.
Then there is the last group, which is the worst of all. I call this group the "God help me-s" because they are completely and totally lost. (Yes, this is the category I belong to). Very few people are placed in this category because most people have some idea of what they want to do. However, if you are like me, then you do not have the slightest clue in the entirety of the universe. Being placed in this category often makes you feel hopeless to be honest. As I always say, "there is just nothing in this world that interests me enough to do it for the rest of my life."

I am not going to lie, it is especially difficult being undecided when all of your friends have already declared a major. I often find that I am jealous of them because they know what they are doing with their lives and I do not. Something else I have noticed is that when someone from the exploratory studies decides on a major, I always ask them how they made their decision. I do this because I hope that maybe I can figure out what major I want to declare in the same way they did. But, unfortunately, I have yet to figure out the secret yet.

I could go on and on about being undecided, but I will stop there for now. I do not want to bore anyone with an excessive amount of information on one subject. But thanks for reading, if you have any ideas on how to figure out the best way to discover a suiting major, please let me, as well as everyone else, know in the comments.

Sorry if anything I write is confusing. This is all new to me and hopefully I will get better at this as time goes on.

My First Blog

Hi,
You can call me Mar.
I am a first-year college student and this is my new blog.

Let me answer a few questions that you might have:
1.) I am starting this blog out of pure boredom.
2.) I am in the exploratory studies (Uhhh)
3.) My favorite color is purple.
4.) No, my real name is not Mar.
5.) I have no idea what this blog is going to be about.

College is definitely fun, but with so much free time, it can be hard to keep myself busy, especially on weekends. Let me know what you would like me to talk about on my page. I am willing to share my opinion on most things and I will discuss anything accept my social security number and my debit card number haha!
But really, I hope you enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy posting to it.

Let's see where this blog will take me...
